Sir/ Madam,
Vide this office letter of even number dated 21-01-2011 and this office letter F. No. F.110353/02/2009-KVS (Acad.)/BS&G dated 10-02-2011 (both letters uploaded on the website: www.kvsbsg.blogspot.com and copies of the both letters enclosed herewith for ready reference), it is clearly informed that in the academic year 2010-11 registration of at least a unit per KV for PMSC is needed for the keeping our student on the path of community service oriented work and to inculcate among them youth leadership for achieving the KVS BS&G targets such as s Rashtrapti Award & PM Shield competition.
But till today we did not received any information in this regard from your Region and the required list (in the Performa Annexure-PMSC-R) with original copies of the forms and consolidated DD. The duration for working is still remaining i.e. up to 30-06-2011. The time for next year PMSC registration (2011-12) is also fast approaching i.e. after 01-07-2011.
Meanwhile, find enclose herewith 02 copies of Log-Books with 02 copies of Guidelines of PMSC which should be issued to the senior applicants (HWB/ALT/LT) of the Prime Minister’s Shield Competition 2010-11 so that they may immediately do the work and guide others in the Region. Even then if any further guidance on PMSC is required then ALT/ LT attached to RO may contact to Dr. B. Islam SOC KVS BS&G who is attached to this office.
Please direct ALT/ LT attached to your office to do the work for required participation of the Region and success in the PMS Competition 2010-11.

Sir/Madam,
With reference to NHQ BS&G letter/ Circular No. 61/2011 dated 28-06-2011, please find enclosed herewith a copy of Revised Registration Form for BS&G “Prime Minister’s Shield Competition” (PMSC).
2. You are all aware that Prospective Rashtrapati Scouts/ Guides must work for Prime Minister Shield Competition and also motivation should be given to all the Scouts and Guides units of the KVS BS&G through Principal concerned to play their useful role in the service of the Nation and in the movement under proper guidance of UL/ALT and LT of KVS BS&G.
3. This revised and prescribed Form is to be used by the applicant/ Unit Leader without recomposing of it (in original shape) by copying of it on legal size paper (i.e. 8.5” x 14”). The form should be initially filled in by concerned Unit Leader in his/her handwriting and should be forwarded to this office through proper channel in the light of relevant letters of this office.
You are requested to motivate all members of BS&G working in your jurisdiction to work hard for winning the P.M.S. Competition and please forward the enclosed copy of Revised PMSC form to all Units with above mentioned guideline.

In continuation to this office letter of even number dated 19-12-2011, on subject cited above, I am to inform you that the ensuing Prime Minister Shield Competition Rally and Award Distribution Ceremony was fixed at the Bharat Scouts and Guides, NCTC New Ashok Nagar, Delhi from 4th to 8th January 2012 has now been postponed due to the emergency meeting of the Hon’ble Minister of Youth Affairs & Spots Government of India who will proceed to the Foreign Country during these days.
You are requested to kindly communicate the information of postponement of the above cited Rally to the concerned units and also direct them not to proceed to Delhi for attending the above cited Rally.
The next date of the above cited Rally will be communicated to you after receiving the confirmation from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Govt. of India.

As per the instructions received from KVS Hqrs vide their letter no.F.110353/11/2011-KVS (Acad)/BS&G dated 02.12.2011, a strategic Divisional Action Plan is to be prepared and submitted to KVS Hqrs, New Delhi.
In this connection, a Divisional Executive Committee meeting of BS&G is proposed to be held at KV Picket on 16.01.2011 at 10.30 AM to discuss / prepare a Brochure / report of the year till date of the contribution and achievement of the concerned sections of the Districts of Hyderabad Division.
All the District Chief Commissioners, District Commissioners (S/G), Associate District Commissioners (S/G), DOCs, DTCs and District Secretaries are requested to attend the meeting.
The District Commissioners are requested to prepare a draft copy of report / achievements and Action plan for the remaining period of 2011-12 of their districts concerned and forward the same to the undersigned latest by 09.12.2011.
